After such a challenging year for all, we thought it was especially important to reward our staff with an end of year celebration and to say thank you for all their hard work throughout 2020.
We invited both staff and their partners from across all the Crest business divisions (Financial Planning, Accounting, and Mortgage Broking) to a formal black-tie event at the Newcastle Club. The night was an enjoyable mix of socialising, great food, drinks, and some formal recognition of staff achievements throughout the year (obviously with some limitations, due to the Covid19 restrictions in place at the time).
Special guests were also invited, including previous Crest Financial Services advisers as well as some of Mark Prior’s family to help us celebrate his achievements throughout his financial planning career (now spanning over 40yrs). After 20 plus years with Crest Financial Services, Mark will be finishing up in 2021 to enjoy a well-deserved retirement with his wife Kim and their family and so it was only fitting to focus a large part of the night on him.
There was a lot of stories and laughter (and some tears), as we remembered the incredible impact of Mark’s friendship with past and present staff members, as well as the legacy of personal financial advice he has provided to generations of Crest clients. It was great to hear from previous advisers, current staff members and especially from Mark’s mum as we celebrated and reflected on his achievements and wished him all the best for the future.
We also took the opportunity to recognise the 2020 ‘staff members of the year’ award recipients for both the accounting and financial planning businesses.
Overall it was an enjoyable evening and a great way to see out the year that was.
